Dr. Odabasi's research interests include monitoring and modeling of organic/inorganic pollutants and trace elements in the atmosphere, and characterizing their sources. Exchange of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) between the earth's surface and the atmosphere (wet deposition, dry deposition, and air-soil/air-water exchange) and determining their physical-chemical properties (i.e., Henry's law constants and octanol-air partition coefficients) are of particular interest.
